To meet the special needs of aeronautics Réel has designed and built aircraft maintenance, stripping and painting equipment. Back in the seventies Réel's suspended 360-degree-swivel work platform connected to the trolley by a telescopic mast was a striking development. This innovation coincided with the first wide-bodied aircraft — especially Boeing 747s — with wingspans that made existing equipment redundant.
The Réel Aeronautics department is present in several airports around the world: Orly (Paris), Roissy (Paris), Narita (Tokyo), Heathrow (London) and has carried out many projects, including fitting out the Air France A380 maintenance shed at Roissy – Charles de Gaulle airport.
